The TV Show “half” of Defiance premiered tonight (Or, in the case of west coast people, is premiering), and it was good. Â The first 14 minutes that had been released, honestly doesn’t do the rest of the show justice (I’m still not speaking to Nolan, because of the Gem…. anything else, would be a spoiler, so…that’s it).
The show itself, has been said to have a “Firefly” feel to it, and I definitely see that aspect (the Frontier “Cowboy” town in the future), good introduction to characters, some back story/lore..and the stage set for the future (complete with unseen plot twists!).
After the show, some of the Trion Worlds’ community team took to Twitch for a short live stream. Â They answered some questions, gave some goodies away, and showed off a new trailer that will officially be released soon. Â I do want to know where I can get that giant Hellbug on the set!
Mentioned in the stream, is the first new content for the game that ‘carries on’ the events in the show. Â The Armistice Day ‘event’ is now live in game.. so get in there, and get your data recorders/pursuits/quests done… You’ve only got a week.. come next episode airing on SyFy..the content goes away!
