As of today, at about 4:00PM Pacific, all Founders have been granted access to MWO’s beta!
One of the NDA requirements was that Beta testers couldn’t say that they were in beta, since everyone with a Founder’s pack is now in beta (and easily identifiable on the forums as being Founders).. PGI has relaxed the NDA a bit, and beta testers are now allowed to say that they are in Beta..
So… to paraphrase from another game I beta’d:
“There is a Mech testing club, and I’m a member”.
Additional good news on the Founder front.. Russ has also indicated that as of this afternoon, everyone who buys a Founder’s pack, will get instant Beta access! Â So if you haven’t bought yours yet.. you still have time.
We should also be expecting an announcement regarding additional non-Founders getting into beta by the 7th of August according to Russ.
