Via Press Release this morning, IGP and PGI have announced that the Founder’s Program for MechWarrior Online raised over $5 Million! Â That’s a whole lot of people throwing their support in for the game, lots of those were ‘sight unseen’ purchases, where the buyer hadn’t even seen the beta of the game yet!
Checking the number of people in each user group on the forums gives us this breakdown:
- Legendary: 26,470
- Elite: 26,400
- Veteran: 14,840
Interesting that the $120 package is the must successful (by a small margin). Â Personally, I think that’s because people are indecisive and couldn’t pick which Founder’s ‘Mech they wanted!
